MALTS

  • ART DIRECTION, BRAND IDENTITY, INTERFACE DESIGN


Malts.com is an online retailer for malt whisky lovers. It sells classic malts and the finest single-malt Scotch whiskies in the world. To echo the brand story, we created a brand identity that is demystifying, enriching, luxurious, and unexpected.

We introduced a new typography system that translates personality and a touch of luxury within the geometric shape. Our updated colour palette, a tribute to the rich Scottish heritage, moves beyond traditional category colours. It embraces richer, more opulent tones, each carefully selected to evoke a sense of luxury, modernity, and a warm connection to our shared cultural roots, welcoming our audience to a new experience.

While the individual brands often contribute to the assets used on Malts.com, the heart of our creative process lies in Malts Studio (Flavour, Culture, History). Here, we have the unique opportunity to create bespoke assets and content, fostering the Malts community and guiding users on their journey of discovery.

Through design and storytelling, the result is an enhanced purchase experience that captures people, personalities, moments, and passion.
